Later, Natalie Marie conducted a phone interview with founding member Marsha Botzer, and economic/employment resource coordinator Breanna Anderson at the Ingersoll Gender Center in Seattle Washington. Marsha and Breanna spoke of the ongoing work at Ingersoll and the number of services they provide for transgender, gender variant and genderqueer folks in the community. They also talked about the outreach the organization is doing and positive ways for that to be realized in a broader community. http://www.ingersollcenter.org/
We also spoke with Laura a local therapist working with trans and homeless youth in the community. Laura discussed her ongoing work and some of the difficultie working within the community and her determination help and empower trans youth in Portland.
