good ole Mary
I commend both Joe and Abe for understanding the race to the bottom issue, vital that all working people understand that this is a world wide problem.
It's the 1% (and their minions like Mary) keeping what they got by removing things from the 99%.
Great show guys.
Trimet always has money for the things that they want, you should see all the

Bureaucrats that have been hired over the last year.
Trimet is not being truthful about the situation. They only present the side of the story that suits their purpose, NOT THE WHOLE STORY.
And the managment whining about no pay raises in four years, GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!
Did you know that former General Manager Fred Hansens pension is $15,700 a month, THATS A MONTH!
WOOPS
Not sure what happened on that last post, I didn't mean to put all that HTML code in there obviously. Let's try again: I commend both Joe and Abe for understanding the race to the bottom issue, vital that all working people understand that this is a world wide problem. Mary gave a very weak response to that by saying "moving to comparable" coverage, which is still the race to the bottom. It's the 1% (and their minions like Mary) keeping what they got by removing things from the 99%. Futhremore, I think you're right in assuming that cutting executive pay won't really help the bottom line much, BUT, ***IT WOULD LOOK LIKE THE EXECUTIVE CLASS OF TRIMET ACTUALLY CARED ENOUGH TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK TOO*** They haven't had a raise in 4 years, boo hoo, how sad that Mary with her $110k a year job hasn't had a raise. So what she has to keep a beeper in her pocket! "Oh Mary, please wake up and talk to (enter name here) because IT'S SO IMPORTANT! Ya right. And ya these executives are paying more for health insurance, THEY DON'T HAVE A JOB THAT KILLS THEM. Air conditioned offices basically nine to five, PLEEEEEZE! GIVE US A BREAK! Yes the dispute at TriMet shows that single payer is the only thing that will save this whole country, not just TriMet employees. Great show guys. Trimet always has money for the things that they want, you should see all the Bureaucrats that have been hired over the last year. Trimet is not being truthful about the situation. They only present the side of the story that suits their purpose, NOT THE WHOLE STORY. Did you know that former General Manager Fred Hansens pension is $15,700 a month, THATS A MONTH! Brian Playfair's is $10,400 a month! CUT SERVICES AND HEALTH, RAISE FARES, BUT MAKE SURE THESE RETIRED BOZO'S KEEP GETTING THEIR FAT PENSION CHECKS EACH MONTH! Welcome the world wide battle against the little people.
