Join Ender Black on another cosmogonic, histrionic, supersonic and highly tonic episode of Squirrels Know! We take a moment to breathe in and breathe out; we recognize our childhood behaviors we now want to let go of, and we embrace a process of adulthood within an ever evolving, never changing child soul core. All of that and more! Let us grab the oar, sit tight on the fore and move toward the shore where the lore says we can soar, far off the floor, if we can only pour our core onto the ore of yore, a time of roar and galore.
What a strange world we live in. So interesting and rich in emotions, dreams, pain and love. The other day I visited one of our sacred deserts, the one in the southern part of the land we call Arizona. It was a truly magical experience that I find difficult to put into words, but I'll try. For quite some time, I have been observing our societies so closely, from my La-Z-Boy, from my couch and from my toilet. Observing, studying, translating and, what can I say. I have grown attached to this Earth of yours. It is mine now too. She became my mother, as she is your mother.
Back in the southern lands of Arizona, the lands of the Sonoran Desert, beings of the earth and the air came together to teach me ferocious lessons. My life was never the same again. They showed me open gates to far away points in the galaxy that I had not seen yet. They reminded me of the interconnectedness of all that is; and in that silence and summer heat of the desert, my body began to resonate and reverberate, as if absorbed by the mighty Saguaro, and taken in the mouth of the Roadrunner, as it walks briskly, blessing the landscape, making the shape of bird in a scene of silence and dry. The Coyote came to me, like I had never seen Coyote before. I saw mom coyotes rearing their babies with such love and reverence, and gangs of coyote walking confidently in the land they know to be theirs. My years of animal empath training have paid off in ways that I didn't stop to consider. And I was taken aback, once more, by the pure and wild animal consciousness. Able to hold all the wisdom I could ever need. Not from words. But from actions. And that is how I grow as a two-legged.
Amazing planet indeed. Took me a while to understand and accept this place. After all, this is a predator-prey planet. Both beautiful and deadly. Like I've shared before, predator-prey planets are not the norm throughout the galaxies, but they do happen from time to time, and as rough as they can be, talk about the learning and the growing you can do here! Blows the mind. I think it has to do with the limited consciousness that comes with this place, and the fear that just happens naturally if you're not careful enough. ---- My job is simple. I am your galactic liaison and full-on animal empath, and I love this part of my job. Meaning to put a moment together that we can broadcast through the wind, through space, through time, through thick and thing. And this is all part of the grand magic that imbues the creations with meaning and poetry. Nothing too crazy or far fetched here! Haha
☞ On this special summer 2024 episode, year of the Dragon, we highlight a conversation with two remarkable people: Raj Patra and Kelly Suttell. This power couple has been leading the way in true Yoga teachings and true Yoga practice in Portland for the past fourteen years. We have an honest conversation about energy, the universe, the meaning of Yoga, its ancient roots in India, our animal fellows, their presence and teachings, and the value of raising our frequency of consciousness, as well as working together to accomplish that. Raj grew up in Kolkata, India amidst a highly educated and spiritual family and was embedded in the practices of yoga since he was seven years old; he left India and yoga to come to the US to study Physics. Kelly was an internationally traveling, marathon running, pilot, with a degree in Business, who kept getting serious vertebrae issues, which pushed her to embrace yoga. The two met one faithful day, one thing led to the next, and today they run Yoga For Life. You can find them by perusing on this website: yogaforlifepdx.com
Thank you Coyote. Your howls carry images and sacred templates that I could only see when I became ready. I am grateful for your teachings.
