A Portland/Multnomah Food Policy Council meeting,. a public citizen-advisory meeting about food system policy recommendations for the City of Portland and Multnomah County, will take place on Wednesday, June 10 in the Rose Room on the second floor of City Hall, 1221 S.W. Today is the Oregon Zoo Two Buck Tuesday, which occurs monthly on the second Tuesday of the month.
EVERY Wed. through end of June-you can attend free lectures from Physical Therapists, Herbalists, Naturopaths, and others, at The Herb Shoppe, 3327 SE Hawthorne St. at 6:15pm. Lecture titles and speakers are on the website at www.theherbshoppe.net ; Info at 503-234-7801.
EVERY Wednesday-in June you can attend the Portland 911 Truth Alliance weekly meeting, at Laughing Horse Books, NE 10th Ave just North of Burnside, 7 pm.
Wed. June 10th & 24th-there will be a Study Circle on the ABC’s of Marxism, 7pm in the cafeteria of the Smith Memorial Center,PSU, 1825 SW Broadway, on TriMet lines #1, #12, and #44.
There is a free sack lunch concert Wednesday June 10 at noon, at the Old Church, 1422 SW 11th Ave in Portland. The artist will be Christopher Schindler, concert pianist, in recital.
