Once again we present our holiday favorite The Father Christmas Letters by J.R.R. Tolkien. A collection of letters written by the author of Lord Of The Rings in response to his children's letters written to Santa Claus. Katherine Dunn reads these tales of comedy, adventure and wonder. Many of the ideas in these stories would be expanded by Tolkien in his more famous writings about Middle Earth. Background music is excerpted from the works of Modest Mussorgsky, Maurice Ravel, Sir Arthur Sullivan, Gustof Holst, and Alexander Borodin.
