It was a pre-holiday extravaganza this afternoon. Fortunato welcomed two bands, We Are Like The Spider, and Patchy Saunders, to play live in the studio while two others, Brain Shapes and The Ex Girlfriends Club dropped by or called up to promo their upcoming shows. Mister Christmas (Craig Adams), brought in a couple of rarely heard holiday recordings, featuring among others Betty Boop, Mister McGoo, and one of the actresses who played Catwoman! DK Holm also called in with his off beat holiday movie picks, and a review of the series of Stanley Kubrick movies playing at the Cinema 21. And, live from Hollywood, John Goodwin, of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, talked to us by phone about the Hollywood Christmas Parade.
