He talks with Don Merrill about how as a candidate for both parties he has to sometimes walk the line between ideologies, the need to return the police to communities in a more personalized way to prevent it from become further militarized and why he has unfailing faith in Oregonians to fix problems that are admittedly endemic but not necessarily intransigent.
