This week's Featured Goddesses:
THE DARTS (US): Garage-punk-rock riot grrrl band with a groovy psychedelic sound. Formed in 2016 by Phoenix, AZ musician Nicole Laurenne (vocals, keyboard), and Christina Nunez (bass), with Meliza (guitar), and Velvet (drums).
THE ANARCHICKS: Formed in 2011 in Greater Lisbon, this Portuguese punk-pop powerhouse focuses on feminism and creative freedom in their music. Current lineup (as of 2023) includes vocalist Rita Sedas, bassist Synthetique, drummer Katari, and guitarist Adam d'Armada Moreira.
THE SHE TRINITY: This 60's all-female rock band was formed by Canadians Robyn Yorke, Shelley Gillespie and Sue Kirby. They later relocated to the UK where they had greater success. The final line-up was a four-piece (um...technically not a trinity anymore...maybe a "quaternity"? :) ) consisted of Eileen Woodman, Robyn Yorke, Pauline Moran and Inger Jonnsson
