Mother’s Day weekend is time to remember that many Oregon moms are having difficulty making ends meet.
It’s also when the US Postal Service mounts the country’s largest annual canned food drive, to fight hunger by filling local food bank shelves just before kids get out of school for the summer.
Oregon’s goal is one point seven five million pounds this Saturday.
