A father daughter team of card sharks plan to take advantage of the socially ackward heir to a brewing company. But the young woman, Barbara Stanwyck, begins to fall in love with their intended victum, played by Ray Milland. When the young man finds out about her family and rejects her, she vows to get revenge, Months later, she poses as an English heiress, The Lady Eve, to get back at the young man. Considered to be the best romantic screwball comdey to come out of the Hollywood Studio era, this is a faithful radio adaptation of the script by Preston Sturges. And if that weren't enough, this week Fortunato has outdone himself with an amazing line up of musical segments that is the best ever! This is it! This is really it!
