Fighting Ventilation Shutdown industry mass animal killing with Matt Johnson

Today we welcome to the show Matt Johnson, Press Coordinator for Direct Action Everywhere (DxE). Direct Action Everywhere is a global network of activists working to achieve animal liberation in one generation. DxE employs a wide variety of tactics in pursuit of this goal, including non-violent direct action such as the open rescue of suffering animals from factory farming and slaughterhouse operations. Most recently Matt has been fighting the practice of Ventilation Shutdown (VSD), a method of mass killing surplus animals for cheap.
