On Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 11.30 a.m. Joseph Gallivan interviews artist Jennifer Gray in her studio in Silverton Oregon. Gray is an oil painter who has mastered many subjects in 21 years as a self-sufficient painter, including nudes, wildlife, waterscapes and her latest commissions, action shots of World War II fighter planes for men who have man caves in air hangars. Gray will talk about how she has succeeded outside the gallery system, how she approaches photo realism, and the best way to work with clients. Her advice to ambitious artists is "Don't hang out with other artists, hang out with people who want to buy art."
