New Yorker cartoonist Emily Flake shares her singular takes on politics, parenting, and pop culture
Emily Flake is an award-winning author, cartoonist, and essayist whose work has appeared in The New Yorker, Mad Magazine, The New York Times, and The Nib. She performs "stand-up cartooning" onstage and has collaborated with Ophira Eisenberg on the parenting-themed comedy showcase "Sh*tshow." Her new collection, one of LitHub's "Most Anticipated Books of the Year, is called That Was Awkward: the Art and Etiquette of the Awkward Hug.
