Climate change protester won in court on ethics defense
Ken Ward was one of a handful of climate change protesters who picked up tools, broke into oil pipeline facilities across the United States, and closed the emergency oil valves carrying tar sands oil as a symbolic gesture in October of 2016. Now there’s a documentary about it called “The Reluctant Radical.”
This week’s guests on The RadioActivist are film director and producer Lindsey Grayzel and Ward, who will appear at a screening of the documentary on Wednesday, 7:30 pm at St Phillip the Deacon Episcopal Church, 120 NE Knott St, Portland.
