Host Amy Johnson speaks with Stuart Perrin who is a visiting teacher to the meditation classes taught by Alice Stipak at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility in Wilsonville, Oregon - Oregon's only women's prison and intake facility. Perrin is Stipak's spiritual teacher and the lineage holder for the Kundalini Yoga tradition in which they teach. Stipak teaches at Coffee Creek a few times a week, while Perrin -who is based in Westchester County, NY-visits about every three months. Perrin discusses the meditation program at Coffee Creek. He discusses the difficulties people experience maintaining a practice upon release and how having a practice -like meditation- can help all people escape from the prison-like conditions of their mind.
