Animator Mark Gustafson talks about his work with Will Vinton, Wes Anderson, and Guillermo Del Toro
Portland native Mark Gustafson may be best known as the Animation Director for the Wes Anderson film The Fantastic Mister Fox. Mark got his start sweeping floors at the famous Will Vinton Studios (now House Special) before going on to win awards for his stop-motion work on such short films as Mister Resistor. For his latest project, Mark is collaborating with horror/fantasy filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro on a new version of Pinocchio set in post-WWI Europe.
