Here we are again...
Kashif Saleem, simply known as Kashif, has transcended on the 25th of September.  Rod Temperton has transcended some time shortly after.  Both Kashif and Temperton's names may not be known by many, but their songs are well-loved by music lovers worldwide.

Kashif's early experiences with B.T. Express have led to a well-rounded career of performance, production and song-writing, notably with Whitney Houston, Evelyn 'Champaign' King, Melba Moore, and George Benson (who also worked with Temperton).  He wrote a book entitled, 'Everything You'd Better Know about The Record Industry,' an influential book for those who have made the decision to create and produce music.

Rod Temperton, like Kashif Saleem is an important name in the pop canon; and if he's never been known for anything else he will always be known as being the author of the song forever implanted in history, 'Thriller.'  He will forever be linked to Michael Jackson (via his work on the Off The Wall and Thriller albums, respectively); prior to this he was in the group Heatwave, and eventually formed famed creative relationships with Quincy Jones, Siedah Garrett, and engineer Bruce Swedien.  He's also worked with Michael McDonald, Jeffrey Osborne, Patti Austin, and many others.

We will do what we do, in the best way we know how, celebrating the artistic legacy of these two creative spirits.
