Indigenous music of Mexico and Latin America, a passage through ancestral and traditional music!
Nuestro Canto (Gerardo Calderon and Nelda Reyes) has gathered music from the indigenous groups living currently in our communities in the U.S such as the Nahuas, Purepechas, Mayas and Zapotecos and performs them in its original form and language, featuring ancient and native instruments. Tune in for a taste of "Indigenous Music of Mexico", a passage through ancestral and traditional music, which they will perform on Saturday June 18 at Artichoke Music. Laurie Sonnenfeld hosts.
