California's Prop 49 Aims to Overturn Citizen's United

KBOO's  Robin Ryan speaks with Common Cause's California Director Kathy Feng about her state's Proposition 49, which aims to send a message to Congress to pass a Constitutional amendment overturning the Supreme Court's Citizen's United ruling from 2010.  
Citizen's United opened the floodgates for the anonymous campaign cash that has transformed the electoral landscape of America.
Prop 49 was on the ballot in 2014 but was ruled ineligible after a right-wing legal campaign.
However, the California Supreme Court recently ruled 6-1 in favor of the measure's legality, clearing the path for the nation's most populous state to send a message to Congress to overturn one of the most controversial and consequential US Supreme Court decisions in history.
