Our In Depth guest today is Mary Desch, author, under the pen name MM Desch, of the new novel Tangled Darkness. The book is a psychological thriller featuring a woman psychiatrist, which just so happens to be Mary’s long-time profession. The character, Leslie Schoen, finds herself in the middle of an investigation into missing prescription opioids, as well as a murder, and she’s the prime suspect in both cases.
Tangled Darkness is Mary’s first novel and was shortlisted for the 2023 Chanticleer Clue Book Awards.
