Today’s title comes from the opening song "Where Does the Time Go?," written and performed by Ron Davies. There’s no answer in the song. Time flies, right? The program combines current folk music with songs from many folk singers whose time on earth has passed, including Davies, Woody Guthrie, Sandy Denny, Harry Nilsson, Nanci Griffith, Pete Seeger, Happy Traum, and Doc Watson. And we end with a positive song from the New Seekers "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing (In Perfect Harmony)" from 1971.
