We are blessed in Portland to have a magnificent river flowing through our city. But we haven't always taken the best care of this treasure. Fortunately for many years there have been several civic organizations that have led the way in promoting and producing river cleanup. One of the key players has been Willamette Riverkeeper, who for 27 years has proudly served as the eyes, ears, and voice of the Willamette River.

For over 30 years, Bob has been around agitating for environmental protections and justice for our rivers, wildlife and natural areas around the state.
