The Horse

The Horse is a story about a guitar player and songwriter named Al Ward.  When we meet Al he is living in an abandoned shack in the high desert of Nevada. Here, miles from civilization, he drinks too much, plays guitar, and writes country songs. In those moments when the booze and songs no longer distract him, he reflects on a life filled with missed opportunities and broken dreams. Then one day a blind horse shows up in his front yard, forcing Al to reckon with his past and his future.
