Please join us for Transpositive on KBOO Community Radio on Tuesday, January 3rd as we talk with Ellyn Ruthstrom, David Houle and Kay Gordon about their unique LGBTQIA+ speaker's bureau which started in Boston and now also serves a national audience.

SpeakOUT is a community of speakers working to create a world free of homo-bi-transphobia and other forms of prejudice by telling the truths of our lives. They do so by
conducting educational programs about LGBTQIA* lives and issues, training individuals and organizations to use public speaking as a means of creating positive cultural change, and sharing their lives and experiences publicly in order to support those struggling with sexuality and gender identity. They engage audiences in honest dialogue, and in keeping with our motto "Ask Us Anything," invite any questions that may challenge harmful stereotypes and misconceptions.

Transpositive is a biweekly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non-Binary, and Gender Non-Conforming. Transpositive tries to connect listeners with the ongoing activist, arts, culture, and dialogue happening in Portland and beyond. Make your voice heard! Transpositive PDX is open to new and experienced programmers, guests, and events you want our community to know about. We are an open collective. Anyone who identifies as trans, gender non-binary, gender fluid is welcome to be part of our collective after completing some basic free radio training.
