Today’s Pastures of Plenty starts with "A Toast to the Times" from Pete Seeger and Lorre Wyatt and ends with "A Better Day A-Coming" from Robin and Linda Williams. In between is a variety of folkish music to help you through early Wednesday morning from 5:30 till the news at 7 o’clock. There are a couple of songs from Doc Watson and a pair from Mary Lou Fulton, plus music from Malvina Reynolds, Mary Gauthier ("The Last of the Hobo Kings"), Tom Daley, Richie Havens ("The Klan"), and many others.
(Photo) Mary Lou Fulton is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant who grew up in the border town of Yuma, Arizona. Her debut album last fall, "We'll Tell Stories," draws from her life as a journalist at The Los Angeles Times and Washington Post, and as a social justice advocate.
