The very curious Political Ruminations published a very curious story on October 19th : The story concerns an FEC Filing by Concerned TaxPayers of America. It’s a deep rabbit hole indeed and there are more dead ends and cul de sacs than a Beaverton suburb.  And Holy Shit…That’s the Biggest Rabbit I’ve Every Seen and Why does it Have so Mnay Fucking Teeth?   Concerned Taxpayers came hop-hop-hopping onto the scene back in September making headlines across the country when it intervened in the DeFazio race in Oregon and dumped something like $450 thousand dollars into virulent attack ads targeting  Representatives Peter  DeFazio and Frank Kratovil of Maryland.   Mirabile dictum!   Concerned Taxpayers of America, consists of only two people/entities; a Maryland cement company gave two donations to the group totaling $300 thousand dollars.   New York hedge fund executive Robert Mercer gave the group another $200 thousand dollars.   The Concerned Taxpayers, which lists a Capitol Hill townhouse as its address, has spent $450,000 on television advertising targeting just two lawmakers: Representative Peter  DeFazio and Frank Kratovil of Maryland.  As far as we can tell, CTA is the ugly baby of one Jason Miller.  Both Jason and his DC-based PAC  are completely anonymous. No information is available – nor is it required by law to be made available -  because of the Supreme Court’s odious ruling even if we knew who Jason was, he’d never be required to report his contributors. He’s probably never stepped foot in Oregon’s 4th Congressional District, that Wascally Wabbit…
