In this fourth and final installment of conversations with journalists who are covering the ongoing George Floyd and BLM (Black Lives Matter) protests in Portland, Oregon, throughout the summer of 2020, the TRIPP-P hosts meet up with Freelance Journalist Suzette Smith at Revolution Hall.
We discuss protest art and culture, the effect of the response to protesters from law enforcement and right-wing extremists, and pro-Trump counterprotesters who were in downtown Portland in late August 2020.
Apologies for the non-studio quality sound (& delay in uploading this episode)... we were social-distance recording on a beautiful sunshine-filled day at Revolution Hall, a site where many of this summer's George Floyd protest marches assembled and started off from. You may hear the faint sounds of traffic, or the wind.
