A celebration and acknowledgement of Indigenous people, culture and importance in our current and fragmented social landscape. What can America learn from the humble yet powerful wisdom of the Indigenous people of this land? Would we be able to stop global degradation and embrace our better selves? Will we all be able to work together to craft a future where everyone can succeed and be seen? Tune in to hear important perspectives from real people of Indigenous descent who have been working the field for many years, battling systemic racism, social injustice, and all that comes with being part of a culture that was made illegal not long ago, a people that was removed from their lands and purposefully taken away from their way of life by governmental decrees. It's amazing that we are still here, resilient and more capable than ever, though in dwindling numbers, ready to promote justice for Mother Earth, all the beings and ourselves.
