Tribute to Tony Rice and Tay's Trips Vol 1: 1982-1986

Fun show today. 

Gonna begin things with the Pizza Tapes and pay tribute to Tony Rice and legend of guitar and innovator in the bluegrass world. Then, considering the events of the past week, we will be listening to Jerry and Merle playing "What's Going On".

Let's wrap up the show with Tay's Trips Vol 1: 1982-1986. A friend recently dropped off a couple of discs and he's allowed me to play them on the air. It's a 2 disc set, but I will be playing only disc 1. He also included some of his own musings on why each track was selected and I am posting those notes here.
